The Astronautics AGCS is a secure air-to-ground modular data gateway with dual CPU architecture for hardware-partitioned access. AGCS provides:
• Secure protection of critical avionics from non-authorized access through implementation of a modern cybersecurity framework
• Wireless access to operational and maintenance data on the ground and also in flight when connected to a satellite communication system
• Capability to send and receive data through a variety of communication channels
• Ability to store and retrieve hundreds of hours of operational data within the system.
The Astronautics AFI 4700 RoadRunner Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS) is a form-fit-function avionics upgrade that is designed as a replacement for Attitude Director Indicator and Horizontal Situation Indicator primary flight instruments.
Astronautics’ Badger Pro+ consists of 6×8-inch, high-resolution primary flight displays. These multifunction displays show navigation and engine data, as well as system synoptics, weight and balance, and checklist information. The system is also able to display high-definition video from multiple inputs and provides night vision compatibility. Badger Pro+ integrates information from across all the systems on the aircraft to provide an operationally-advanced pilot interface.
The Astronautics 6×8 Primary Flight Displays and Multifunction Displays have evolved over 20 years by continually offering higher resolution AMLCDs, LED backlights, more advanced processing and graphics generation, patented night vision goggle performance, configurable interfaces including both legacy analog/synchro and modern digital signal types, and modern functionality.
Astronautics produces a 3ATI family of smart Electronic Flight Instruments offering a variety of functionality. They are flying today in helicopters, transports, trainers, fighters, and special purpose aircraft. These displays offer state-of-the-art performance with embedded processing, graphics generation, and interface circuitry so that no other display processors or interface units are required. These TSO certified, Design Assurance Level A (DO-178 and DO-254) displays are designed with hardware and strappable software configuration options for interfaces, bezel controls, and mounted options.
The Astronautics AFI-5500 family of 5ATI Electronic Flight Instruments (EFI) are TSO certified displays available in multiple configurations to meet specific operator requirements. The 5ATI displays are designed as replacements for electro-mechanical HSI and ADI instruments while also supporting a variety of navigation and surveillance overlays. This 5ATI EFI is available with legacy interfaces to accept analog radio and navigation sensor inputs, but also support ARINC-429 and ARINC-453/708 interfaces for CNS/ATM requirements of Navigation (FMS map overlays) and Surveillance (traffic, terrain, weather). These EFIs are available with many hardware and strappable software configurations for helicopters, transports, trainers, and special purpose aircraft.
Astronautics produces a family of smart Engine Displays operating as Engine and Caution Advisory System displays for helicopters, transports, trainers, fighters, and special purpose aircraft. These displays offer state-of-the-art performance with embedded processing, graphics generation, and interface circuitry, with direct engine-display interface configurations and systems with Astronautics Engine Data Concentrator Units as an engine to display conversion unit. These TSO certified, Design Assurance Level A (DO-178 and DO-254) displays are designed with hardware and software configuration options for interfaces, bezel controls, and mounted options, and are available in 3ATI, 5×4, 6×8, and larger format displays.
