Types: 3A62, 3A63, 3H62, 3H63

SATHOM 3 inch Altimeters are barometric instruments. The counter-pointer display is actuated by a high performance mechanism with a high stability beryllium capsule. A builtin vibrator minimizes friction and optimizes accuracy in use. Temperature compensation is accomplished by a bimetallic element. All instruments are offered customer-specific (see type designation) and are mounted for easy servicing

Types: 3A66, 3A67, 3H66, 3H67

SATHOM 3 inch Encoding Altimeters are totally self contained, requiring no electrical power to drive the altitude mechanism. The Altimeters incorporate an optical encoder providing altitude reporting output. The counterpointer display is actuated by a high performance mechanism with a high stability beryllium capsule. A built-in vibrator minimizes friction and optimizes accuracy in use. Temperature compensation is accomplished by a bimetallic element. All instruments are offered customerspecific (see type designation) and are mounted for easy servicing.

Types: 3A42, 3A43, 3H42, 3H43

SATHOM 2 inch Altimeter are barometric instruments. The counter-pointer display is actuated by a high performance mechanism with a high stability beryllium capsule. A built-in vibrator minimizes friction and optimizes accuracy in use. Temperature compensation is accomplished by a bimetallic element. All instruments are offered customer-specific (see type des designation) and are mounted for easy servicing.

Types: 5A16, 5A17, 5A26, 5A27

The Airspeed Indicators (ASI) measure the speed of the aircraft in knots (KTS), kilometer per hours (km/h) or MPH. A high performance mechanism transmits the pitot pressure to a pointer deflection. The control relays (Type 5A26/5A27only) for the outside warning system (Vmo) are actuated by optical detection devices. All instruments are offered customer specific (see type designation) and are mounted for easy servicing.

Types: 5A58

The Airspeed Indicators (ASI) measure the speed of the aircraft in terms of knots (KTS), kilometer per hours (km/h) or MPH. A high performance mechanism transmits the pitot pressure to a pointer deflection. All instruments are offered customer-specific (see type designation) and are mounted for easy servicing.

Types: 5C15, 5C18, 5C25, 5C28, 5C35, 5C38, 5C45, 5C48

The 3 inch MACH Airspeed lndicators (MAl) are pneumatically operated instruments deriving indicated airspeed and MACH information from the pitotstatic sources. The combined displacements of the airspeed pointer and the MACH-disk determine the MACH number, which is indicated simultaneously with airspeed by the airspeed pointer. The control relays for the outside
warning system (Vmo and Mmo) are actuated by optical detection devices. All instruments are offered customer specific (see type designation) and are mounted for easy servicing.

Types: 5C16, 5C17, 5C26, 5C27, 5C36, 5C37, 5C46, 5C47

The 3 inch Maximum Allowable Airspeed lndicators (MAAI) are pneumatically operated instruments deriving indicated airspeed and maximum allowable operational speed (Vmo/Mmo) from the pitot-static sources. The control relays for the outside warning system (Vmo and Mmo) are actuated by optical detection devices. All instruments are offered customer-specific (see type designation) and are mounted for easy servicing.

Types: 5C55

SATHOM 2 inch MACH Airspeed Indicators (MAI) are pneumatically operated instruments deriving indicated airspeed and MACH information from the pitotstatic sources. The MAI are totally self contained, requiring no electrical power to drive the mechanism. The combined displacements of the airspeed pointer and the MACH-disc determine the MACH number, which is indicated simultaneously with airspeed by the airspeed pointer. All instruments are offered customer-specific (see type designation) and are mounted for easy servicing.

Types: 4A58

The Vertical Speed Indicators measure the rate of climb of the aircraft in terms of feet per minute (FPM) or meter per second (m/s). They are used to maintain level flight and to determine the rate of climb or descent. A high performance mechanism transmits the pressure differential to a pointer deflection. All instruments are offered as customer-specific (see type designation) and are mounted for ease of servicing.

Types: 4A16

The Vertical Speed Indicators (VSI) measure the rate of climb of the aircraft in terms of feet per minute (FPM) or meters per second (m/s). It is used to maintain level flight and to determine the rate of climb or descent. A high performance mechanism transmits the pressure differential to a pointer deflection. All instruments are offered customer-specific (see type designation) and are mounted for easy servicing.

Types: B13, B15, B17, B18

GENERAL SATHOM currently manufactures the largest selection of Aircraft Clocks and Chronographs. A high precision mechanical movement guarantees accuracy and reliability.

There is a standard 3 function (B13, B17) pushbutton operation of start/stop/reset-to-zero in a fixed sequence. The other standard version (B15, B18) is the dual mode operating knob with a 2-function push sequence start/stop and an independent fly-back-to-zero operation. The fly-back-to-zero is even possible while the counter is running.

Types: Q13, Q15, Q17, Q18

SATHOM currently manufactures the largest selection of Aircraft Clocks and Chronographs. The first quartz-controlled Aircraft Chronograph with an analog display was introduced by THOMMEN. The Clocks have a quartz controlled movement with 8 steps or 1 step per second. This high performance movement guarantees accuracy and reliability.

There is a standard 3 function (Q13, Q17) pushbutton operation of start/stop/reset-to-zero in a fixed sequence. The other standard version (Q15, Q18) is the dual mode operating knob with a 2-function push sequence start/stop and an independent fly-back-to-zero operation. The fly-back-to-zero is even possible while the counter is running.
