This position is responsible for the inspection, testing, repair, and overhaul of electronic instruments such as communication/navigation radios, radar altimeters, distance measuring equipment, and radio control heads. Daily tasks will include testing units with panel-mounted or stand-alone test fixtures, soldering and wiring repair, cleaning and painting units, and calibration of units to prescribed specifications.
Qualifications
- Electronics Technology skills
- Soldering and Troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency in Electricity and Electrical systems
- Experience in Maintenance & Repair
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant certifications or education in electronics or a related field
- Experience in the aviation industry is a plus

-Be able to read and comprehend electronic schematics and other technical data
-Be able to communicate effectively in the English language, both oral and written
-Be organized and detail oriented
-Function well and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment
-Be dependable and able to multitask
-Be able to solve a wide variety of problems, both independently and as a member of a team
-Avionics repair or relevant technical experience preferred
